Bookkeeping Services
Bookkeeping starts at $199 a month. Every month you get your bank and credit card accounts reconciled, every transaction categorized, and a profit and loss statement and balance sheet you can actually read. The price depends on your monthly expense volume and how many accounts you have, not on how many hours we spend or how many questions you ask.

What you get every month
- Reconciled accounts. Your bank and credit card accounts matched against your records so the numbers are real, not estimated.
- Categorized transactions. Every transaction sorted into a chart of accounts built for your business, not a generic template.
- Monthly financial statements. A profit and loss statement and a balance sheet delivered after each month closes, so you know whether you made money without opening your bank app.
- A person who answers you. When a transaction looks wrong or you do not understand a number, you email a real person and get a real answer.
Who needs monthly bookkeeping
- You probably need this if any of these sound familiar:
- You reconstruct the whole year in March, from a folder of receipts and a bank login.
- Your tax preparer charges you extra every year to clean up the books before they can file.
- You cannot answer "did I make money last month" without guessing.
- You are applying for a loan, taking on an investor, or preparing to sell, and someone is about to ask for financial statements.
- You have employees, contractors, or sales tax to file, and the numbers have to be right for reasons beyond the annual return.
What is included, and what is not
Being clear about scope up front is how bookkeeping relationships stay good. Here is exactly where the line is.
| Included in Bookkeeping | Available Separately |
|---|---|
| Bank and credit card reconciliation | Payroll tax filing → Payroll Tax Services |
| Transaction categorization | Sales tax registration and filing → Sales Tax Services |
| Monthly profit and loss statement | Business and personal tax returns → Business / Individual Tax Preparation |
| Monthly balance sheet | Catch-up of past months or years → See below |
| Chart of accounts setup and maintenance | Fractional CFO work and financial modeling |
| Secure document exchange | — |
| A named contact for your questions | — |
If your books are behind before we start, that is normal. We handle catch-up bookkeeping as a separate, one-time piece of work so your ongoing monthly fee stays predictable. We will quote the catch-up before we begin it.

Yes. Catching up on past months or years is common and we handle it as separate one-time work. We will look at how far behind you are and quote the catch-up before starting, so your ongoing monthly fee is not affected.
No. You pay a fixed monthly fee that we quote before any work begins. Asking us questions does not cost extra.
Your tier is based on monthly expense volume. If your business grows past your current tier, we will talk with you about moving up before anything changes on your invoice. You will never be surprised by it.
Bookkeeping and tax return preparation are separate services, but they work well together, because clean monthly books make your return faster and more accurate. See [Business Tax Preparation] and [Individual Tax Preparation].
